The year without a Summer

The girls and I just returned from 6 weeks in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. It rained a majority of the days and the temperature seldom went above 80 degrees. They are calling it the year with no summer! So different from the weather here at home. We are having a severe drought and a heatwave with a string of days with temperatures over 100.

We had a great time. Here are a couple pics from the trip. I will post more later this week.

I've been wondering where you were! Glad to hear from you. Wow. Six weeks away. How wonderful. The girls are precious as always. Can't wait to see more pics.

Thank goodness you posted -- I was getting worried about you. I'm jealous that you got to spend 6 weeks away from home. However, I'm not sure I could be gone that long. Glad you guys had a good time -- despite the weather.

Good to hear from you Deborah, and it's great to see new photo's of the girls! Michigan has been almost without summer too. It's been in the mid-70's most of the summer. I guess I can't complain too much. As long as I can see the sunshine, I can deal with the cooler temps.
