My Olivia is in love with the Little Mermaid. The other day she was praying and even asked God to turn her into a real live mermaid. AS luck would have it, there is a large aquarium in Qingdao, Celia's home town. The aquarium hosts a mermaid show twice a day, so of course, we are going to do everything we can to get Olivia to the aquarium to view the mermaids. Here ae a couple of pics I found of the mermaid show. After Olivia saw these pics, she was absolutely certain that mermaids were indeed real. Emma Rose on the other hand, wanted to know why they were wearing masks.

focarilegirls@grandecom.netThese are the mermaids in the mermaid show @ the Qingdao aquarium. Apparently in Shandong province, we spend a couple of days in the capital city and then have to go to Qingdao (where Celia is from) to complete some paperwork. They have one of the oldest/largest aquariums in Asia there. Qingdao is a seaside resort town, so I am sure we will have a blast!

My four year old, Hannah, also prays and asks God to turn her into a mermaid. She gets upset when it doesn't happen, and I say, "God made you a little girl on purpose... You'll have to ask Him about it when you get to Heaven." She says when she gets to Heaven, she WILL ask Him to make her a mermaid!
